....anyone of the guys who fly there now, JG54, Gunfighters, checkertails,etc,etc, decided to quit.

I must say now that i enjoy every (almost) fight in the CT beit culling noobs by their thousands or being gang raped by leather clad aces.

The CT is our little world in the large community of AH, and i wouldnt change anything for love nor money.

i dont even mind fighting storch when he makes me chase him round the map. it adds variation.

the true beauty of AcesHigh2 is that you dont have to spend hours fighting boring AI planes. every pilot fights you in a different style.

some of you smack talk, some of you stay silent, some of you hate everone and make it clear.

but in truth it matters not.

the CT is where the best fights are in AH2, without a doubt.

I thank you all for being a part of something i enjoy so much.

storch has gotten very good in the 109g10 with his circle climbing, my mistake is that I try to follow him in lesser allied planes ie 51 or 38

I don't fly the temp or the spit14

the CT is a fun time with just a handful of ppl on each side. I predict it still will be even after TOD is launched. Very Rare to find a fight as long or intense in MA.

I'll second that. win, lose or put up with slash's bad moods the CT is the very best in spontaneous 1 v 1 or 2 v 2 cartoon combat. on any given day there are very skilled people on that help with attitude adjustments for the non cartoon world.

Another thing I use it for is learning a new aircraft. Nothing will get you better in a plane you're not familar with, than going up against a bunch of good sticks. The odds of you finding a good pilot in the MA are about nill as compared to almost every run in the CT. Even if you're getting into 2-3vs1s, it causes you to get use to the veiws and push the plane. Problem is you die a lot and have to leave your ego at the door which many can't do b/c they've developed such a rivalary with others in there.

the CT is where the best flying in AH2 happens 99% of the time.

anyone who desputes that i ask to fly CT exclusively for a month then try the MA. I assure you it can feel like shooting drones down in IL2 when you find the hordes.
every CT merge you feel alert and ready to fight your best effort from the start. like the British media we put ourselves down too much here on the board. the possitives still greatly outnumber the negatives. I hope we never lose the CT.

Most people say they dont like the CT because of the "trash talking" I call BS on that MA has a million times more then the CT, they dont like it beacause ALL the CT regulars have a plane type they fly and they learn it and how to fly it. Most people that fly the MA come to the CT and get thier arses handed to them and they dont like it. Theyd rather go kill noobs in the MA then fly with the best in the CT. The "trash talk" is because people in the CT are some of the best sticks in AH and we dont like competition.

I'll agree with the good fights, I don't know about the best sticks. Sure there are some good pilots in the CT, but there are some outstanding sticks who fly the MA and rarely if ever fly the CT. Sure there are a lot of trash talkers in the MA, which is precisely why there's no need for it in a small arena like the CT.

i tried to get a few more in tonight. Stang and my squadmate came.

first my squadie left because he got fed up with the bad taste for you two, you know who you are.

my squaddie sindon left due too bad vibes and sportsmanship.

then stang came and you couldnt even grace him with politeness when he fought you.

he left because you forced him out and you forced him out cos he was giving you a hard fight if not beating you.

These two films show the whole sad picture drawn out over the space of an hour. you complained about ganging, and then ganged yourself, the you took to the hardcore BnZing and moaning untill everyone but me left. then you continued to fight me with all the advantage and never once showed any thought to the situation past the next sly witisism.

come on men, stop with your stupid intersqud rank competition, and start enjoying the flying and the moment.

no one cares who is ranked best.

lets all play like it seemed we wanted to at the start of this.

fly how you like just stop the over use of the rude obnoxious attitude card, please.

I have to agree with Bear. I think that, on average, the skill level in the CT is definitely higher than that of the MA. However, I don't buy that the skill level of the very best of the CT regulars rivals that of the very best of the MA regulars.

If those films you posted are of the fights earlier today what I'm sure you'll see is two guys setting up one guy with both alt and speed advantages along with nice little clever comments being made by you and stang and perhaps those other two players that were on in allied colors. during one fight there were three of you on me coming off of the runway. no thanks i'll pass on viewing them. but I will say that I enjoyed the fights and wished you had let me fight one of you alone even with your alt and speed advantage.

i would agree also, there is nothing as savage as the catagory 5 MA furball.

but on the other hand the MA gives you the advantage of numbers even though the fight is even.

you will fight:
20% noobs
30% mission gamers
30% reasonable to good fighters
19% very good to ace.
1% ninja assasins

this makes survivabilty in the ma easier than when its 5 on 3 in CT. no messing around.

and in ct you will fight 5% noobs 95% very good to ace and maybe the odd nija assasin.

its not a comparison that is viable.

ya batfink you are right about the MA and the CT. I sometimes go three or four days without a death in the MA. I can't go two minutes without multiple deaths in the CT. also I'm almost embarrraseed to ask but how would you view a film someone posted?

just download the link, right click, 'save target as'

save it to desktop, then double click on it, the AH film viewer will open by itself.

once in there put on icons and recorded view options to make it easier to learn the basic of the viewer.

you can put it full screeen also

Bat Im getting tried of this. We started out good earlyer then you started saying stuff to storch. I was fighting your squadie and storch was fighting you I dont know why your squadie left but I dont remember anyone saying anything to him setp for me ing him. Then stang came on and I was heading over to fight him while you were fighting storch. You killed storch and came after me right after me and stang merged and yes you ganged and picked me. You want the film of that? Then I fought stang and some how his LA5 out turned my full flaping 109F. He left a few minutes later I would love the clip of us ganging you. If what you are talking about is stoch fighting you and me cirlcing 4-5k above watching the fight then while storch augered I was on the phone and dove in about 30secs after stoch was dead then you need to rethink what ganging is. Then storch left right after he said something, but I didnt hear because I had my headset off still on the phone. Then you uped again and I B&Zed you and hurt you pretty bad instead of turn fighting a P40E in a 109 while still on the phone. After I seen your engine was dead I broke off and RTBed. See I could have vulched you or finnished you off but I was being nice and I let you go land. After that you said something like good fight storch and I told you storch was gone you said something like I can see your flying like a weenie to. Oh btw did I say about when you were on the phone so storch waited instead of just killing you while you were afk? Oh and your the guy blabing about rank not us. How about right when I got there and you said you were ganna fight you squadie so I said Ill stay out and watch? See we could be a bunch of A holes and gang and ect. but we are trying to fly like yall want w/o picking and ganging. Then while doing that YALL start ganging and picking. So yall want us to go back to the old JG54 or you want us to fight "fair"?
