She's a Cat 4 already. Cockied and Locked.. and headed fer Texas.

Gents, if yer in the track for this monster and you havent made plans to get 100-150 miles inland, do it now.

God bless the great state of Texas.. and fer crissakes; grab yer dog, yer cat; get yer hat and yer piece and get the hell outta the coastal regions.

Since the hotels are booked and the shelters somewhat cramped, might I suggest a week long camping trip?

Its just a hurrican.  We get them all the time here and they never hit us...they always change course so we are staying put.  We might even have a hurrican party.

That would be one bad MoFo of a cane to get into Grapevine. :)
  I heard that HTC is considering evacuation. Not from the cane , but that Skuzzy went overboard on the frijoles last night. :)

Yes. Grapevine  is near Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Well inland.

Just use the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area for Grapevine.  It's way to far inland to get a hurricane.  Rain and tornados are another story altogether though.  For reference, pull it back just so you can see NO on the map next to the coast.

Just a note, I don't think there has ever been 2 cat5 hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico in a single season, and I will be extremely surprised if Rita isn't elevated to a cat5 on the next advisory.
