Monitor Screen Not Centered?
« on: September 24, 2005, 09:43:24 AM »
Hiyas,
I currently use an Acer 19" LCD, however before this I had a Sony MultiScan PS 400 19" CRT.

Problem, I have to adjust left and Up, 1 click each, in order to not have a line?

Any Help? Thanks,
Dracon

What type of scaling are you using?

Not sure what you mean by scaling?

Changing Resolution doesn't help.  I have tried 1024x768 to 1280x1024.  32 Bit Samo Samo

Windows XP SP-2 all updated

Both of those monitors above do the same thing??
Txs for the reply,

I'm hardly a computer guru or anything, but I used to be able to recreate the problem when I changed 'Display scaling' with the Nvidia software.

Thinking about it, it should of disappeared or moved when you changed resolutions, however.

Well this is weird!  My vertical and Horizontal are set at 50.  I have to adjust both of them to 49.  Then the screen is perfectly centered.  This is the only game I have a problem with.  I don't see anything in settings to force this?

Make sure the monitor type is right in the driver display properties (In video settings, press the "Advanced" button and find the "Monitor" tab).

If you changed monitors, there is a good chance it is set to 'Plug N Play' which usually is not going to have the right settings for an LCD display.

If it show the incorrect monitor type, then load the INF files for your monitor and that should take care of the problem.

Thanks for the suggestion
