I got to say I have recently lost much respect for many of the bomber pilots (esp. b24s) I see so many times that any cv will be automaticaly attacked by bombers, which is fine but then after they drop their bomb load they disco. What garbage .. this seems to be a standard tactic for all sides. Well ok get your points, etc etc for me I think they are all scums no matter what team. I know nothing will change and they wont change the code to punish these people. I just want to say it takes away from the game so much.
With respect,

Geary420 I have seen one player do the drop then bail repeatedly. You can tell hes bailing beacuse first the lead plane goes spiraling down then the drones in sequence. IIRC when someone discos they just disappear(and no proxies for those in range).
Well, with all the bombing I've done over the years in AH, I don't think I've seen these scenarios very often. Not to say that it doesn't happen, as I have seen a dump and disco just a couple nights ago. I just advise against making a mass accusation.
Keep in mind there are several reasons for somebody to auger their mission before being able to RTB. These are events that are critical enough to demand your darn-near-immediate presence, yet negotiable enough to be allow for that drop on target you've spent the last 15 minutes climbing and calibrating for.
Specific reasons: ( no specific order )
1. Wife Ack. 'Dinner's ready'...
2. Squadron commitment. ( CO has called a regroup and has allowed you to drop your ordnance before augering to rejoin them ) I've had to ask other squad members to do this exact thing.. and they did, once they dropped their ord.
3. Legitimate lost host connection
4. Dump and Disco
5. Phone call from work, friends, extortionist
So there are 5 of the reasons to explain why somebody would intentionally disco/auger after dropping their ord. Of those, there is one, #4, I would classify as the gripe that started this thread.
If you see the same small group of people doing it over and over again, then please note it is a small group of people.
The vast, vast, vast majority of bomber missions I have flown in over the years have had all bomber pilots making the maximum effort to RTB.. even after HQ raids and having to cross 4 sectors.
Don't condemn us all for the actions of a few.
