I wish the water wasn't just flat.I mean come on,it would be so cool to be in a PT boat and hit a humongus wake.

moving water would eat too much FPS I'm afraid, although stationary "waves" would be nice to have

The animated water we have now is such a resource hog that my new computer can run it only with difficulty.

Can you imagine it with the water actually moving, instead of just the textures being different?

Dont know about the new version of AH but I know in the last version I could run it without too much of a hit.

I keep it turned off because I just find it too distracting unless your in a PT boat or an LTV

I turn in off in aircraft because I fly into it not realizing I'm that close.
