NOTICE: Command Staff Change for the 327th
« on: September 26, 2005, 10:07:37 PM »
Please note that the command staff of the 327th for the FSO has changed.

Both KOOL and I (SaVaGe) have had to make adjustments for real life obligations and other reasons. For that reason, we have stepped down as command for the 327th FSO unit.

The current plan is to rotate some of the other staff through the FSO command, so we can spread the load, and so we can bring more of the squad into the FSO unit. We have several very capable members who all look forward to taking their turn at the command positions. You can count on each and every one of them to do a bang up job for you.

Effective immediately, Eagle is the CO for the 327th FSO unit, his XO is SteelFS. We have placed Eagle in the CO position in our squad listing with the FSO, and he will install SteelFS now that he has been chosen to be the XO.

It is the intention of the 327th to continue with the same level of commitment to FSO as we have since signing up in July.

Thanks for the heads up Hilts. Make sure the Squad Ops page reflects that so they get the e-mails. :)

You can edit the above page if you have not yet. :)

Eagle, Steel, if you guys need any help with orders in the future let me know. I can show you how "not" to do them since KOOL already whipped me once. ;)

I passed the torch to Eagle already, and left the XO slot open so he could put his new XO in. Took care of that last Sunday.

You might be interested to know that in fact, Eagle did the B-24J testing for that frame. KOOL and I swapped emails for several days, and then spent a couple hours on the phone.

We STILL had a couple of things go very bad wrong despite the planning, and throughout the frame we were concerned that we had really screwed the pooch. Had the guys in the B-24's not done a bang up job, it would have been a total disaster.

We never could get the air to air going in that tour, I know where some things went wrong, but there wasn't much way around it.
