Do you think that aces high is better than il 2 Forgotten battles.

The coloring in il 2 is not as good, and the terrains are not nearly as good as Aces High II, but what about the planes, and the cockpits. What do you guys think?

What about fighterace? Do you think it is good? It has lots of planes, but it's terrain is "blotchy."

I think aces high remains overall the best.

Engine modelling and damage: Il-2
Offline mode: Il-2, naturally.
Fun factor: Aces High

Fighterace: Gamy

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

AH has the ULTIMATE upperhand in providing various situations, due to its MMOG nature. IL2/FB is also capable of large multi-player sessions and yet, frankly, it's still not much more than just a loosely-fit furball. AH also holds better FM and user-friendliness.

 However, IL2/FB has some pretty neat attention to details, which can make a lot of difference when both games feature same vintage WW2 prop-aircraft. Also, it's graphically superior no doubt.

ah is better imo
but ah should take a look at il2 for a few things.. basic engine management for one views and icons for another..
also been keeping and eye on targetwares sims for the last year or so.. their icon system is fantastic...it takes into consideration who has advantage..

Yes, I do. AH2 is way better than the IL2/FB/PF combo, net code sucks in that game... I'd rather fly a sortie of AH than a soritie of IL2/FB/AEP/PF...

Aces High is play-friendly, it doesn't take a flight-sim nitwit to play Aces High fairly well

All the other sims are abit too...complicated to just take-off and get into a fight
