About 1943 RAF Fighter Command Claims? Tony Woods has updated his 1943 file for "Combats and Casualties, RAF Fighter Command" to include all of 1943 - previously it was just January to March.

Perhaps not surprisingly, his bandwidth has been exceeded - but not before I grabbed a copy.

Ask me nicely and I'll email you a copy, if you're desperate.

The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
