That's a pretty heavy PC.

Well I'm not sure what the market is like in the UK, nor what is available, but just going by a rough conversion rate of 2x you can get a decent number of parts to put a good PC together. Whether you want a pre-made one is another matter. If that is the case I'd browse some of the local onlines stores and compare what they offer for that price range.

If you can put the parts together yourself, I'd suggest... hrm.. with some safety margin for my conversion rate (1.8 is closer) and taking in the fact that I don't know how much these parts cost "over there", I'd say you can get away with:

ASUS mobo
P4 3.2GHZ with HT
1GB DDR
Power supply (400W minimum)
and a good 3D card in the $200(US) (say 120 UK) area.

And you should have some left over if you want a new case.

Do not go DELL if this is for gaming. Their BOIS is not tweekable and your not getting what I would call gaming quality components. Dell is fine for general home/office use but not for gaming. If your not into building it yourself you would be better off looking at one of the dedicated gaming PC builders out there.

I.E. from TigerDirect (US Pricing)
