Tanks' shadows?

What are those blue "disks" or squares over and through those tanks:



Shadows? Can I remove them? I need them as static objects to my map. Airplanes have those "upper shadows" too in the Terrain Editor, but not in the game!

Part of the tank object is underground, you need to raise it about 10ft in the TE
