Update from Casa Del Seagoon
« on: October 05, 2005, 11:46:44 PM »
Hi All,

I haven't been able to fly AH2 or post around here as often as I'd like, and I thought I might as well post a brief note explaining why. Our home PCs HDD crashed recently, and I've been using my wife's laptop until I could get a new one and get it up and running. I can't stand typing on that laptop though and the wireless connection is terrible, so I've mainly used it for checking for critical email and playing my newest addiction: OGAME (I of course blame you all for getting me hooked on the game equivalent of heroin - the more you play the more you need to keep playing  sooner or later I'm gonna have to kick this.)

In any event, the other thing that has kept me away (apart from work and congregational issues) of late is that my wife is pregnant and has been having unusually bad morning sickness, in fact this round has been so bad, "morning" is a total misnomer, "day sickness" would be more apropos.

Today, she had her first ultrasound and we found out why: twins. Looks like we are about to make the leap from 3 kids to 5 in a single bound. Anywho, what this all means is that I'm having to take over a lot of the household chores and will have to take over more in the future, so if I don't reply to a post or request, please don't think I'm being intentionally rude.

Anyway, I miss flying and yakking immensely, but some things have to come first.

Congratulations and good luck. We'll still be here when things settle down a little.

Be fruitful and multiply!

My congratulations to Mrs. Sea and yourself.

Oh... yeah... this is a good time to plan your garden for next year. Your'e going to need one to feed that crowd! And working in the garden is a good thing for kids.

Enjoy! Cya up sooner or later.

Congrats Seagoon!  All that sounds strangely familiar, like right now :).  Hope your wife feels better soon - it really sucks for the ones that get morning/all day sickness.  Best wishes to you and yours!

Now that is an excellent idea, only problem is that we are going to need to move fairly soon. We currently have only 2 bedrooms and an office/storage room, so all the kids are together in one bedroom at present - which obviously won't work with an additional two kids. Time to look for a four bedroom house - but I'll plan to start a vegetable garden in the new one and insist that Thai Peppers be in one of the rows!

Thanks much guys, I'll keep you all in mind when cigar time comes around, deo volente.

Congratulations!  I wish you and your family the best of luck.
