Jagged mountains

Due, I suppose, to the `70`s I cant remember how to get rid of the jagged edges on mountains, etc.
I`ve been playing around with vid card settings trying to get the freezes out and I end up with the jagged mountain curse.
Anyone help me out here?
ATI 9700
P.S. Vsync, on or off?

Did ya try using "Shift F1" in the game to get your view to full again? After the update, mine changed, so I had to flip it back.

Anti Aliasing is the Key.... works best on ATI cards... not so well on Nvidia.

OK, application preference was checked for anti aliasing. Should it be unchecked and set to.....2X, 4X or 6X?

Your choice; higher looks better but eats framerate faster than this guy eats a burger...
