Hrm... I was watching that F6F fight, and it occured to me... There are many times when you're in a similar plane, or the same plane, in a 1v1 where you're both low and slow and neither is in position for a shot. Many times this devolves into rolling scissors and the like.

One trend I noticed: It is MORE likely to keep you out of the enemie's gunsight to KEEP going in the same direction you're going in, than it is to try and reverse directions (hoping to throw the enemy off, I guess), because that ends up giving the enemy a chance to set up that perfect kill shot.

Just thought I'd share that observation. I never really noticed it til I was watching those F6Fs over and over again.

Question for you Nomak, I watched the film of you vs SirLoin and noticed your nose was pointed directly at him as you executed your lead turn. Granted there was an unstanding that no shots would be fired until after the merge, but would you expose yourself to the head on shot in the MA?

No I would not Max.  Although it doesn't take all that much effort to avoid the HO.  A quick roll or direction change is all that I usually do.

Im hazarding a guess here - but are you using the AH film viewer (found in your AH game folder) to watch the films?
21 is only half the truth.

When prompted, SAVE the film to your FILM folder in the AH directory.
It should open properly.

aStar go to Start/Programs/Aces High II/ Film viewer. Once that program loads then click the open button and click on "film 20" in the list.... should open then.
