i guess your right, but it would only take up a few more polygons to turn them into rectangular blocks. then atleast they'd be 3d.
and that also brings to mind another problem with the engines, the fact that they always start in the same place. so if your engine's off, and you start it, the prop will move instantly to a set place and start there. sure its nothing, and makes no difference to gameplay, but it just looks so weird!
