The USAAF did put the squadron codes in front of the national insignia as general practice, on both sides of the fuselage

Ooops, thanks for spotting that Guppy. The Mks 5 and 9 I did previous to the Mk 14 happened to be non standard, i.e. squadron code at the front on the right. I just put it there without checking on the 14.

Will the Spit V (seafire II) still be able to accelerate like an F16, hold energy like the shuttle in 200 mile orbit, turn like a humming bird and be as realistic as the X files ?

Had the RAF been able to use the AH Spit V the LW would have been doomed !

Nope. If i understand correctly (and that may be a big IF) it says "MN" in front of the roundel and "M" after the roundel on both sides...

Removing the roundels it looks like M-MN and MN-M.

i guess your right, but it would only take up a few more polygons to turn them into rectangular blocks. then atleast they'd be 3d.

and that also brings to mind another problem with the engines, the fact that they always start in the same place. so if your engine's off, and you start it, the prop will move instantly to a set place and start there. sure its nothing, and makes no difference to gameplay, but it just looks so weird! :) (especially in films :lol)

Glad they arent screwing around  with armament "options" on the wing guns. Just pick one that makes historical sense and model that. Dont need 303s on a XIV anyways.

No, they don't.  And honestly I'd started taking .50s on the Mk XIV to increase lethality on the shorter firing solutions it generates anyway, but I will still miss the .303s.
