Yep, the distal digital horn shoe on a cow , its 'toe', is called  claw. Im not sure if the term 'hoof' is layman when applied on cattle claws or if its a synonym. Sorry, im no native english speaker, and in all the articles ive read so far they are called claws.

We had a limousin bull in the clinic two weeks ago.... that guy weighted 1400 kilograms.... thats more than my car!

Buffalo; it's what's for dinner.

They call them hooves around here, not claws. I think, at least in the midwestern US, that the term "claw" is mostly associated with predatory animals, among which cows are not typically counted.

Bovine's good eatin', regardless.
