New Episode of South Park
« on: October 20, 2005, 12:40:48 PM »
Anyone catch the new episode of South Park last night?  The show was dripping with satire.

Synopsis:  Stan and Cartman steal a boat, but don't know how to work it.  They crash into a beaver dam flooding the town below called Beaverton.  Cartman and Stan agree not to tell anyone they did it.  The town scientists blame it on global warming and send the town into panic.  There are many spoofs on "Day After Tomorrow".   At one point, the crowd is talking and someone yells, "George  Bush does not like beavers!"

I thought it was quality, and dealt with alot of the ridicolous things that went on in the aftermath of Katrina.

I laffed my bellybutton off. Cartman and Kyle on the catwalk.. "Give it to me Kyle... I know you have it.."

I'da figured by now the scripts would go stale...obviously, that ain't the case.

Great stuff.. hope they keep it up.

It was good, but I was a bit disappointed in it as a season premiere.

The bag around Kyle's neck made it all worthwhile though -- they haven't lost their edge yet.  :)

Kyle: (After being hit by a bat) Ow! Cartman, what the hell are you doing?
Cartman: Killing you. Unfortunately, I could only afford a wiffle bat, so this will take a while

It was ok. They ran the one about the tping the art teachers house just before it, and it kinda was too much of the same thing when the new show came on next.  It was funny in parts but wasnt a "great" episode for me, I expected better.

It won't go stale until the issues of this world are stale.  They tackle what's going on in the real world and make funnies about it.

The wiffle bat was funny.
