Some more questions about China's ...whatever
« on: April 09, 2001, 12:15:00 AM »

1: in a statement released by the Chinese tyr..goverment, it said that the Wang Wei had done nothing and that the EP-3 rammed him.... but yet later ON THE SAME PAGE it says that what Wang Wei DID was a heroic act...

ok so he didnt do anything but what he did was a heric act...

Explain please?

2: I heard on the news that a few Chinese person(s) were trying to voice the opinion about the accident and when the asked permission to have an interview the Police showed up and "detained" them.... so whats the deal there??
wonder if they are still alive..based on history probably not..

I didnt catch the full story on this, just the above said..did anyone catch all of it..or can clarify it..?i dont know the details...

3:
China siad the pilot LATER crashed in the ocean....but the collision supposadly happened very near the chinese coast and not in international waters..so if collision happened so close to the land and not in international waters..why did the pilot crash into the sea?..apparently he didnt go down instantly..

4:
Why is it china wont let the US aid in the search for the pilot?? it seems that being the amazinhunks they are they would demand it...kinda sounds odd...

5:
China says that the reason the collision was caused is because the EP-3 made a "sudden" turn and the fighter couldent move out of the way..

A:isnt it accepted aviation doctrine that in close proximity the largest least manueverable plane has the right of way?..kinda like ships?

B: can a plane that big really make a "sudden" manuever..especally compared to a fighter?

C: if you are flying so close to another aircraft that is much slower and much less manueverable than yours and are so close that all it has to do is try and turn and it will hit you before you can respond and move out of the way despite the fact that it is a lumbering 4 engined prop driven  EP-3 and you are in a quick responding fighter with high manueverability..wouldent that make it YOUR fault for flying too close..i mean when a plane that can dodge a missle aimed at it cannot get out of the way of a giant slow moving aircraft just because it begins a turn..that says alot about how close he was to it.

so how..even in the dilluted brainwashed eyes of the Chinese can the accident appear to be the fault of the EP-3?

6:
If the Pilot of the FIghter would have lived through the crash..would he have been touted as a hero (as he is now) or him and his family murdered (the version of Chinese military diciplin)

This is not intended to be a bash at China....god knows the do a good enough job of making tulips out of themselves that they dont need my help....i know parts sound like im taking potshots at china..but nothing mentioned hasnt happened there before...probably at least a dozen or so times.

China has no sympathy from me. They are a ruthless bunch of commie criminals. Those are American hostages at this point, even though no one is saying the H word.  China wants nothing more than to make USA bow down to their knees and ask forgiveness. Isn't even worth the time to try to figure those commies out. They got their own agenda, and they could really care less how it may hurt their favoured trade status with USA in the future.
