Furball why dont ya spam elsewhere?  You guys spend more time crapping on threads than flying.  I'm surprised HTC puts up with this MS paint **** and yesterday's hi-larious l33t speakathon.  And this mongoloid art competition has what to do with the wishlist forum?

Dude, he started the thread.  How can He be spamming?  You realize that most of the reason he does this is for the reaction he gets from people like you.  You are what they call an enabler.

Lighten up.  Too much angst turned inward can physically hurt you.

See Furball?  New advertising out there means new influx of players.  First impressions of the community are huge with new ones such as Skilless.  It's bad for business, turning away subscribers.  If I ran HTC I wouldn't let this garbage fly.   In this case the roles are reversed, sucks dunit?  Sit back and snicker in your squad forum at how devious y'all are.

i apologise wholeheartedly for suggesting something that dares to be different. how idiotic of me.

The first time those MS paint caliber drawings showed up it dared to be different.  What number is it now?

and yesterday's = old.

I have been playing for over a year (still a noob). I recently started a new account.  I just started posting on the forums.  I don't think you read my post correctly.  You need to lighten up.  He started the thread.  I can see getting a little upset if he hi-jacked your thread, but this is his thread.  You made a personnal decision to click on it even though you knew it was probably going to be something silly.  AHII is supposed to be a fun hobby for its paying customers.  If you want regiment and disipline, join the army.

I dont understand how this will hurt costumers. If anything they will see it and either..

A) Not care
B) Think it's funny

When I 1st started not to long ago I read the boards 1st. I enjoyed the funny stuff you could find on it. I dunno how anyone could be turned off by some goofy pictures of air-o-planes???

So I picked a cheeky thread to piss on, my mistake.  The thread-crapping in general is funny, hell i'd laugh and join in if I didnt think there were side effects.

Look at the nonsense from a different perspective.  Anyone that hasn't been here in a while wont have the slightest clue whats going on.  More than half the customers probably have no knowledge this BBS exists.  Newguy sees the commercial on the military channel or hears about it from a friend, checks the forum where half the threads have some joke going, their impression is "wtf?  this community is nuts, screw it."

How should one dismiss the shenanigans as merely shenanigans (and actually laugh) if one hasnt been exposed to the ins and outs  for a time?  I'm just saying it's got the potential to scare off new members, or members not accustomed to this bunk, before they can comprehend it's meant as humor.  So what follows that process after a time?  A closed community that eventually fizzles out.  Boring, predictable for the existing players, and less new blood for HTC.  New guys arent learning anything if the vets want nothing to do with them (apply that to lame gameplay too, heh).   Just sayin' HTC depends on the community... this forum is the game metaphorically.  That's what separates it from boxed sims and fighting against AI.

You can easily turn my argument into an old fart's rant, and thats probably true :), only because I've seen this happen 4 times now since joining AH.  It's not the same as 2004, 04's not the same as 03, etc, all the way to `99 and 2000 when I joined.

blah blah blah

Actually it can even turn away old customer and current player.
