do you fly in a cave?
I can only try to use my trackir at night as glare from the window behind the desk messes it up

there is a light sensitivity slider you can adjust...or try window shades.

Quick...to the Alf cave da da da da da da da d ada ....err no

The older TIR did have issues with strong sunlight messing up tracking, the newer ones are much less likely to have that issue, although I suspect a full bay window with a setting sun may be an issue.    One easy fix for you would be a window film that blocks IR....it'll save your funature and carpet too :aok   Ive never have an issue with it, but never had a large window at my back....Id have a heck of a glare on my oversized LCD.

BTW for anyone who has used TIR before and found the learning curve too steep...TIR3 with Vector is a whole different animal.
