Hurricane stuff

How are you guys in Floriday doing?  Anyone with access to the internet?

My wife is there helping open a Figaro's pizza in Delray Beach, and said the winds were pretty impressive.  She was supposed to fly out tomorrow, but the shutdown airports may complicate that.

She's at the Figaros right now (closed) meeting the owner and proposing that they make and sell sandwiches, as they have the supplies.

Spoke to my mom on cell, she's in Pompano beach. Apparently she'll need a new roof. There is no water or power, so she and her boyfriend are living out of their motorhome at the moment.

Argh, wifey was supposed to fly out this morning, but the airport (Ft Lauderdale) is still closed (indefinately).  When we last spoke, she had $5 and a quarter tank of gas in her rental car.

Maybe I should just rent a 172 and fly down to pick her up.  Lesse, 2,000 miles at 110 knots at $90 an hour....

Lots of wind here in O-town.. Orlando Intnational Airport is open..  Miami Int. just opened a few hours ago..  I'd say South Fla was hit the most hardest. But it's not like it's the end of the world, we know how to act we just don't know how to count :D

I think power will the most issue, but roofs are still hard to come by we still have people here that still have tarps on their roofs.  I have a few friends down in Miami area and they have no power..  To top it off we had this feek cold front. Which in turned caused most of the tornados we had..

I still have to climb up on the roof to trim my damaged trees :(
