A friend of mine sent me this link. Rosie Odonnel has a poll on here web page for gun controll "she is for it". Well the majority, 80% at the moment, are voting people should have unrestricted access to firearms. No matter what side of the fence you sit on you have to admit this is hillarious. So go cast your vote

Oh thats a great site! I watched as she tore Tom Selleck apart, and you could see the guy was trying to be civil and polite, almost to the point of tears while she bashed, misrepresented and spun (hey, sounds like a liberal democrat!) her version of how the world should be.

The same people that tell us we dont need assault-style guns or magazines that hold more than 5 rounds also drive gas guzzling SUVs that get 12 miles per gallon (hey, they dont NEED that, why not a nice and small Saturn or Sport Yugo!).

I have no problem with background checks and some modest safety measures, like free trigger locks for handguns (no excuse to use em, their free!). But I do grow weary of people who are anti gun (or anti anything) push their morals on the rest of us. Isnt it funny how the wealthy, mansion dwelling superstars like Rosie want to tell us little people how we should live?

But hey, do quote my pal Bill O'Reilly from the "O'Reilly Factor", anything else would be totally ridiculous.

The poll is stupud - questions are meaningless.

I'm for gun control. - What does it mean? How could there not be some kind of gun control? It's just what kind of restrictions are put on purchase/sale of the guns.

I think everyone has a right to own a gun with no restrictions. - How can that be? What about age, mental health, criminal record?

I think it's okay to own a gun, provided the owner is licensed to carry a weapon. - That could mean anything. If a licensed person can own a gun, does it mean it is easy to get a license?

I think it's okay to own a gun, provided there are background checks at the time of sale. - The only one making some sense as long as we agree which things are checked...

This issue is too complex to reduce to one sentence.
Of course there should be licensing - if only to make sure a person learned the rules, regulations and safety. As long as any citizen can pass a reasonable test, apply and get the license automatically.
