I'll browse the terrains, find one with an island and 3 airbases secluded in a sector.

Ack up in Activity but worthless for damage, so there is some distraction and noise.  Noise is good :)

Turn the 262 guns down so they don't wallop, but are somewhat effective.  Flying has to remain over the island, within the sector, so there is a focused fight, not a bunch of running away.

Have 2 planes available, like a faster BnZ and a TnB matchup (Offense/Defense)

Pair up Teams, have one each country and the 3rd country the 262.

Either One side wipes out the other, or the one who gets the 262 instantly wins.

Coin Toss and winning team picks the planes.

Next go round, if anyone wants it, winner picks the planes.

What Say Ye All.  Run on an off night or weekend so there isn't a conflicting event underway in the SEA.

i have a film of this lol..i was running amok around about 60 ftrs in a 262..its kinda pointless becuase everyone tries to ho and u cant engage anything..also  4 or 5 guys go grab alt while u attempt to avoid steady cannon fire from every direction..course i was being aggressive..i guess its possible to run all day though..

ROC looks good but can we have all the chasers on one side so all are green and only red icon is the 262?  And killshooter off?

Sure, can either do an FFA and last man standing or Team Play.

I'm ok with either, up to you guys though, I'll setup anything :)

I think we should set it so there is 1 team. Comprised of 50+ fighter guys, in their prop plane of choice. Make many planes available to get more people involved.  The opposing team, would be the single 262.

The players kill eachother while looking out for the 262, to kill it as priority, but looking out for the other guy who may kill them. Players may wing up, unlike KOTH. But eventually even that alliance must end as the numbers dwindle. So watch yer back.

The guy who kills the 262 wins, or the last guy standing.

As far as flak, Id rather it not be banging away non-stop.

Also it would be fun to do a night match as well as daytime.

Bump.

I liked this idea, maybe it will go over this time.

I think instead of KOTH style it would be best as a team event. I don't think the rules given would really make it great though. I'd sugguest instead two teams that each just have a 262 that can't go over 6k (although the teams could), and victory involves either killing their 262 or everyone else. This would allow for a little strategy as an aggressive 262 pilot could really help kill everyone, but at the risk of losing the game. The 262s would be forbidden from enguaging each other.

Think three teams filth.

Team A = bishops
Team B = Knights
Team C = rooks  = Jet

Dunno what your going to use for bludgers though.

Ideally you should have goalposts at each end with goally in something like a Zeke.

As to the jet, its not so much who can shoot it, as can your fast la7 driving Seeker player get close enough to CATCH it.

Rest of the pack should be in MG armed birds like F4u-1d's or F6fs.

The "Ball" should also be a rook in a B5n.
Idea is to "herd" the ball into the other sides goal.

Last, I think it should be run in the TA (or with TA like lethality settings)

The first seeker that manages to get within 100 of the jet would be said to have caught it. (proof by film, snapshot, jet pilot)

Meantime the rest of the bunch is busy trying to herd the ball though the goals for a point.

Throw in a couple of Hurrii II's for bludgers,(Also rook, try to shoot everyone) and I think you have a quiddich game!

I like Filth's idea and I think that the best version is the one proposed by pellik. I'm for it.

Nice one

to be more like quiditch.

replace the 262 with a 163........... (nit)

form 2 teams (Bish & Rook)each fighter with 500lbs of bombs max.

game ends when the 163 dies. (its gonna run out of fuel eventually)

1 points per hits on enemy target buildings destroyed (each set at 500Lbs)

1 points for kills against enemy.........

10 points for the kill on the 163........

minus 5 points for any kill made by the 163.......

Rotate countries in a tournament...........

Why not just use the KOTH map?
