That works fine on the internet or when you're waiting in a train station and have to endure some religo-wacko who's blathering out loud his message of doom, gloom and how one should not be happy.

Buyt IMO ignoring the worlds nutjobs like the KKK could be a bad idea. For they then tend to believe that other people are ok with what they say and stand for because no one objects.
