Calibration problem. How do I get back to default?
« on: October 29, 2005, 05:39:47 PM »
For over 4 weeks now, ive been trying to solve this on my own (insert persistant idiot here).  On take off the plane wants to spin to the left go nose down and eventually crash.

At first I believed it was my stick so after 3 weeks of working on it, I eventually pulled it to pieces, screw by screw, spring by spring, wire by wire and after much cursing and throwing of nearby objects, eventually got it all back together again and in as good as shape as when I first purchased it. Many tests in many games attest to its claimed ability.

Yet again, the problem persists with AH2.  Strangely in offline mode, everything will seem to accelerate. Take off, AI planes etc all move at max factor 10 and uncontrollable speed.  In online mode, this isnt the case but the calibration routine is still screwed.

Question:

Without having to completely uninstall and reinstall, how do I get the current game calibration to set back to its original install state?

I cant find a calibration ini file anywhere in the directory :(

Thanks in advance for any assistance. At present and for the last 4 weeks the game has been unplayable as a result.

Remove the 'jsmap.cfg' and 'stick.cfg' files in the Aces High II 'settings' folder.  You will then need to setup/config the stick as if it were a new installation.

Make sure to calibrate the stick in Windows first.  Then calibrate it in the game as well.
