That's what I thought was so funny.  The whole thing is dripping with Irony.  Of course you being a liberal Canadian that has his panties in a bunch for American politics just HAVE to assume that I'm trying to be an bellybutton and talk smack about liberals.

Then explain to me... hell, everyone, what you thought was so "ironic."

Yeah.... Lets see you do that.

What's the magical gist of it that you get, that we don't?

i·ro·ny    ( P )  Pronunciation Key  (r-n, r-)
n. pl. i·ro·nies

The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning.
An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning.
A literary style employing such contrasts for humorous or rhetorical effect. See Synonyms at wit1.

Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs: “Hyde noted the irony of Ireland's copying the nation she most hated” (Richard Kain).
An occurrence, result, or circumstance notable for such incongruity. See Usage Note at ironic.
Dramatic irony.
Socratic irony.

A nation that is not on the invite list at the white house and could probably subsadise a school lunch program selling "deth to amerrika/boosh is satan" T-shirts has a moron for a president (so say the liberals) just like the US who's very president put the above mentioned nation on the axis of evil list and is in fact a moron (so say the liberals....among others) and it's all reported so neatly by none other than foxnews.

c'mon work with me here.

I think the you're being a little too hard on Gunslinger, aren't you?   You fed up about something?   Bush's quickly thrown bone to the hard right to deflect attention off of Scootergate, maybe?

I found irony in Hangtime's post - threatening military action to "kick their moron's a**" - after misinterpreting/misunderstanding the situation.
Shoot first, ask questions later.    At least with his second post he apologized and pulled all the troops home, though.

"When logic fails?"

Curious thing to say. Care to point me to where you used this so-called "logic?"

Are you lamenting its failure because you've failed to, you know, actually produce it?

"When logic fails."

Are those three words strung together by happenstance? I mean, do you mean anything by them? If so - mea culpa -  and throw me a bone:

Where exactly here is your logic buried and what is it?

if you quote what somone else says to make a point aren't you making the same point?
"as the imam says 'israel should be wiped off the map'" que applause.....isnt' that really the same thing?  EDIT:  not to mention he defended his remarks the day later by saying he stands by what he said.

Nash I'm done talking to you untill you get your panties out of the bunch they are in.  This entire post was about humor and irony and you failed to see both because you are so blinded by your ideological hatred

That's a far cry from saying Israel needs to be "wiped off the map"

what you are saying is that the orriginal is "wiped off the map" and what the president said was israel needs to be "wiped"

Completly different but keep em comin Lada.  The entire world (to include Iran) thinks you are wrong, you are in the extreme minority here
