A Finnish publishing house is preparing the new edition of their most excellent book about the history of aerial night fighting. They got both the new edition of the Finnish language book ready - and also an English language edition.
The only thing they are lacking are photos of British night fighters.
The CEO of the company asked me, as I also write aviation articles to their magazines, to try our luck in "that excellent network of you virtual pilots, if you could find someone who could supply photos."
They need good quality photos or digital scanned images, with the necessary permissions and copyrights ok, of British night fighters - I'd guess from the early days of WW1 until end of WW2 (and perhaps even later). But especially WW2.
What is NOT wanted are googled images from the depths of net, with no idea of copyright holders.
I'd hear gladly of such good contacts, researchers or people with large collections of photographs, who could assist. It's a commercial job, so the photos don't need to go for free either.
