Iranian government removes 40 diplomats

So I'm still curious how anyone can defend Iran's status in the world.  Are they just trying to make waves or is this genuine saber rattling.  Seriously does this govt want to progress into the 21st century any time soon?

C'mon lada tell me this is all a western propagandist lie and blame the west as you usually do.

Perhaps they are taking the North Korea method of negotiation. You can do whatever the heck you want in your own borders as long as you have nukes. Scream, rant, rave it all gets you what you want later on and as long as it's all done in your own borders no one needs to get you.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Perhaps they think the US is thinly stretched between Afghanistan, Iraq, and NK?

I wouldn't call that thinly stretched I'd call that well deployed.  Either way they are firing all of their western freindly diplomats.  This isn't just a small deal this is a major govt shift.  It scares me that the article even used the word "purge"

All it would take is 1 missile from 1 trident sub and we have quite a few.
I wouldn't say we stretched to thin.

Let em think we are stretched thin.

I love it when the world watches CNN and thinks they have insight on who we "really" are.

Exactly. Remember the axis of evil? The only one that got invaded was the one without nukes or a nuclear program.

maybe we're looking at all this the wrong way. the mid east is not a problem; it's an opportunity.

i wonder if some brilliant slip stick jockey has figured out yet just how many nukes it'll take to turn the whole place into a parabolic reflecting mirror to bounce sunlight off a satellite to run solar generators on this side of the planet when it's dark.

solve oil dependency, end the energy crisis and settle the 'who's yer daddy' god contest.
