I thought he was against the one with the judges?  I saw a commercial about it.  Why is he involved in california politics in the first place?

Mccain is a nice guy, but i think he is a little crazy from all the years in a NV prison.

you know that when the NV found out he was a admirals son they offered to release him, he refused.  I think he could have done more good for the other prisoners by getting out and telling what was going on in the prisons.

A McCain ticket is a McCain whitehouse, unless the number of Republicans willing to fall on their sword to make a point (as demonstrated by the Harriet Miers nomination) continues to rise.

I think I could vote for McCain.

McCain is not a republican.  He pretends he is, but he is not.

McCain is an appeaser.  He and his ilk should be movved to a special party called the "appeasement party" where they belong.

I think you'll find that the Republican party's position and platform has always been a dynamic thing. The current Reagan flavored GOP isn't going to last forever.

I disagree.  Most Republicans have conviction (no jail jokes please) and stand by them.  McCain is too like Kerry in his wishy washy ways.

Increase your time scale. Compare the GOP of this decade to the GOP of decades past. Same goes for the Democrats.
