Foked Tail Devils Scoring Frame 1

FSO: Forked Tail Devils - Score Frame 1
Fellow Combatants,

The parser logs over at Webtreatz are still down. Innominate SEA Stats do not seem to be recording correctly. All the scoring is from the raw logs. That means that each and every action that takes place in the frame is recorded and displayed in text form. It must be manually counted and deciphered into the scoring parameters set by the event description. It is hours of works and mistakes happen. I will do this for frame 2 and 3 also. As the head CM I will not ask the Admin CM’s for the upcoming events to do the same as it is too many extra hours of work, but they may choose to anyway. We have programmers working on new software that will take the place of webtreatz and the parser. When that is complete all scores for future events will be posted. Please bare with us we are doing what we can as fast as possible to correct the situation.

1245 = Axis
0820 = Allies

Here are the specifics:

AXIS

Air Kills
225 pts = 09: B17G @ 25 pts ea.
090 pts = 06: Mossies @ 15 pts ea.
480 pts = 32: P38J @ 15 pts ea.
070 pts = 07: P47D @ 10 pts ea.

TOTAL = 865

Ground Targets Defence Points (200 points each)
000 pts – A71 (all hangers destroyed)
000 pts – Ammo Factory 16,8,8 (completely destroyed)
200 pts – A43 (no hangers destroyed)
180 pts – City 13,6,4 (10% of target destroyed)

Total = 380

Allies

   Air Kills
   120 pts = 12: BF109G6 @ 10 pts ea.
   150 pts = 15: FW190A8 @ 10 pts ea.
   090 pts = 09: FW190A5 @ 10 pts ea.
   060 pts = 04: BF110G @ 15 pts ea.

   Total = 420

   Ground Targets (200 points each)
   200 pts – A71 (all hangers destroyed)
   200 pts – Ammo Factory 16,8,8 (completely destroyed)
   000 pts – A43 (no hangers destroyed)
   020 pts – City (10% of target destroyed)

   Total = 420

It is worth noting that the Allies used the B-17’s in the northern targets, which were totally destroyed, but not in the southern targets. On the other hand the southern targets were hardly damaged at all. This gave the Axis nearly 400 points which is just about the difference in the score. Proper use of the B-17’s will result in the destruction of targets, but if they are not protected properly their losses could out weigh the ground targets destroyed.

Those P38's weren't fun to fly. It was very difficult for me.

It is my favorite ride Jethro, but I still suck in em.  Some guys fly them with amazing skill and success.  The trick is (IMHO) knowing how to fly it against the enemy AC you are engaged with. With some it can be a turn fighter, but others an energy fighter.  A good rule of thumb is to keep her fast and do your best "not" to be a target since there is a lot to shoot at.
