That 20 mm looks like MG 151.  A-10 has a 30 mm gun though.

OK , joness we are pretty sure that picture was taken Friday afternoon , didn't rain on Thursday till after the show was over and not at all Saturday when we were there , my wife is under the green and white umbrella at the top right of pic . We hid under wing of home built

funked the guy was from the national guard that sold us the shells , said the 20 mm was like the ww2 fighters used , MG151 could u tell me more about that ? The shell has this written on the bottom :
CARTRIDGE DRILL
M18 A1
20MM GUN

Now can't see the \ on the N in GUN might
be a ll ?

Then pretty sure he said that last shell was a 37 mm , but u are right ! Sorry looked at the casing says 30 mm right on it   sorry .
But he did say it was a the kind the A10 used   He gave out A10 pics in the bag he put the shells in .

The yellow circle in the sight pic is the top turret of the B17 I was standing in the gun postition and held my camera up to shoot that shot . Pretty damned cramped for me , they even had extra set of foot pegs for shorter gunners . After standing there u wonder how in hell they ever hit anything , cramped etc , guns right by your head , and all that .

cheers spro
