If the ToD starts in 1943, with the USAAF arriving over German skies..

 ...what more would we need?


* Earlier B17s seems definately on the line up.. (although I was a bit surprised that a very early P-47D or P-47C wasn't added..)

* Would we need the P-40s for the ETO scenario?

* The P-38s are here.. which is a good thing..

* Would there be groundwar in ToD? In that case, '43 tanks, artillery, support vehicles and etc would be most welcome...


 I guess after that, it'd depend on which script HTC will be working on after the initial release of the ToD... Pacific? MTO? Eastern Front? My personal wish is for the Eastern Front or BoB...

 BoB would be really cool.. a bit simpler ToD span, with fights occuring over a much smaller area than others... but it's always a very popular subject.. and I'd love to enlist in a ToD featuring our spankin' new SpitI and Bf109E-4s.

the new Spit 1's +12 boost  will outperform 109E-4 in all categories except negative G turns.


and about the 1943 ToD...

Are we ghonna use P-38G to simulate P-38H? P-38H looks similat to p-38G.  P-38J entered very late in ETO dec 1943 (1944 in PTO)


I think the only plane that is missing for 8th AF  vs  LW is the Me-410.  Me-410 is a 1944-45 bird intended to replace the Bf-110s

Pyro said the B17G model had to be completely rebuilt because of errors on the current model. I am not expecting a large update like the spit/109 update. I would hope to see a B17F and B24D. Then again they might decide to go ahead and remodel the B26 while they are at it.

I think HTC will redo the B-17G and maybe add the E, or F. Then after that they might go and redo the Ju87 and 88 and add more german bombers.

Anyone know why the Ta152 was left outof the 190 update? Would love to see that baby brought up to par.

My guess would be that it wan't worked on because no one flies it.

And when it comes to German iron, the more HT "works" on it.  The prettier it gets, the crappier it flies, and the views from the cockpit get worse and worse.

My guess is the next time the 109s get worked on you will just have a pin hole to look out over the nose.  And the 190s will deploy flaps at 120mph and fly about as fast as a Spit 5.  Probably take away the all the 4 gun cannon packages too..

I wonder if we will also get a slower climbing K4 with less deck speed?  :(
