Author Topic: Can't connect to MA. Others working fine? (Read 493 times)

I have had problems to connect MA or Backup MA during last two days (before and after update). It might have been even longer time because of my absense during this week.

The symptom is that I can't log in to MA or Backup MA. When I click MA in Arena selection, it always jump back to log in or arena selection screens without any error messages. On the other hand, I CAN log in to any other arenas.

What's up?

Firewall, or anti-virus program?

You were right. It was firewall but the reason which causes that is interesting and I would like to have answer to that.

When I'm NOT permitting Low priority intrusions to my PC I can't connect to MA or backup MA. Still other arenas (DA, TA) are working just fine.

When I permit Low priority intrusions to my PC everything is working just fine.

NOTE: I'm not blaiming you about anything. Just want to hear the explanation for future problems.

Typically, software firewalls will block Aces High after a patch/update. They treat it as a new installation. A bit of a pain and nothing we can do about it.

This problem has nothing to do with a patch/update. I had the same problem yesterday before update. I didn't remeber that I changed my firewall setting few days ago and that is the real thing causing problems.

What I tried to ask is differences between MA & other (DA, TA or CT) arenas because I had no problems with other than MA. E.g different TCP/UDP ports etc.
