do knights like missions?

Seems like one of your missions really came through yesterday afternoon Zig, wtg.  Everyone said it was a great field capture, near as perfectly executed as one could hope for, wtg.   I woulda joined but I was at 20k when the mission was announced and nowhere near a friendly field hehe.

I think the timing of a mission is just as important as the mission plan itself.  when there is a large battle going on over a field it may not be the best time to launch a mission but say right after a large group of friendlies capture a base they'll all be landing to rearm/refuel and will be on the ground and probably more than willing to sign on for a mission on the spot.

Deja : Zigrats missions 98% of the time are strategic missions  that are always offensive minded by nature.
The evening in question I participated in the raid on  Bishops HQ . This was not done out of any real strategic  goal in mind except to have a "FUN" HQ raid.

The raid was such a success  Zigrat and the other participants  all agreed another one would be  "FUN" to do but this time hit Rooks. Zigrat had a commitment to his stomach and had to leave for approx. 1 hr
hence the we will do it in an hour  statement from him.

As for strategic importance WHO CARES? I found  busting my nuts trying to save a field or trying an offensive take over, fun  But if I find myself frustrated at others actions or lack of actions (because they are having fun  in a mass furball somewhere for instance ) i take a break.

The aquiring of real estate in the MA is fun granted, but in the  whole scope of things its out of your hands. Getting up in arms about other peoples decision to have gameplay fun  that differs from your own ,only seems to ruin it, in my experience, I cant speak for yours.

Zigrats missions are Fun with the capital F and even if they happen to be for some reason  strange and out of the strategic norm for that mission. I fly in the MA for just that type of  fun. Undefined and unstructured.

I dont think Zigrat deserves any beratement  because these two missions happened to be not in line with the strategic goal at that time. Like I have mentioned 98% of the time the missions are very strategic and aquire much real estate for Knights. Its unfortunate that the 2% gets pointed out for its lack of conformity.

I did not berate zigrat.

I did not tell people not to join the mission.

I questioned its importance.

I was told not to do that on private channel and responded in private.

End of story.

I never said they weren't fun.  They must be if 3/4 of the country is willing to drop whatever they are doing to participate.

I simply ask that they be relevant.  It can actually be fun AND relevant.  Strive for that and there will be much less negative feedback.

Zigrat was not insulted on public coms.  His mission was questioned... he didn't like that.
