How come HTC doesn't sell T-Shirts etc?
« on: December 19, 2001, 09:57:00 AM »
If this topic has been beaten to death I apologise, but....

I'd buy one..or more actually, if they had some cool designs...and that should be no problem...they could also sell things like mouse-pads, screen-savers etc...they would make great stocking stuffers (for me anyway)at Christmas time.

Seems to me that this is advertising that HTC gets paid for....I think that HTC would be very pleasantly surprised at the results!

Practically no-one I speak to has even heard of flight sims like Aces High...and not just in Bermuda....I travel alot and my online adventures end up in most non-business conversations.  Apart from game magazines and on-line advertising I have seen very little in the way of marketing these types of products.  Yes, marketing is expensive....but the T-Shirt thing actually becomes a new revenue stream if they can sell enough..albeit a very small one.

Well...just my 0.02...

Who else would buy a T-shirt?

You can buy a T-Shirt (NUTTZ made them up for the 2000 con, not sure about this year) at the Aces High Convention held annually in Dallas/Ft.Worth area every October.  :D

AFAIK, no T-shirt manufacturer makes a T-Shirt with the neck hole large enough to allow the head of a virtual pilot to slip through.

I think THAT'S the real reason.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!
