Story says it all (and the title of the post was purposely misleading...)

hehe...Well it is true that the alcohol content IS indeed higher there...

Canadians are sooo funny with their rampant "activism".  When I was there I will never forget driving into work down the DVP (major highway into Toronto) and there were a bunch of people on an overpass with a banner that said "Stop UI (Unemployment Insurance)Benefit cuts!"  These guys didn't seem to realise that they were waving their banner in the faces of all of the people who actually were on their way to WORK...people who actually contribute to the scheme by virtue of their employment....not sitting on an overpass complaining that their beer money was being reduced.

It surprised me that people weren't pulling off the road to smack them!

bad form rip.  Using beer as bait is bad, though not quite as bad as the naked women pix bait.   ;)

What a joke.

These folks should get a job.  Where were the REAL police and the pepper spray?  What's next a demonstration about "granola" shortages and against people who waste precious water by bathing?

As for beer...I need one right about now.

Wouldn't you need a stronger beer if you lived in Canada?  ;)

They also want to have, I kid you not, secret trials and take away our right not to incriminate ourselves.  This is a very scary piece of legislation.

Please dont get me started on Canadian stupidity.

 DAMN..Too late.
Its not the prevention of terrorist fund raising that is the problem, Its the total disregard of human rights, some of which Thrawn mentioned.
Canadian Government is getting to the point that they too may need to be overthrown, Hence the reason they are cracking down on human rights and terrorism in One single blow  :D
