The finest teacher of ACM I've read to date is 'Fighter Combat' by Robert Shaw from Naval Institute Press.
If you are truely driven to learn the 'art' of air-combat this is essential reading.
I humbly suggest making this your favorite 'potty-time' reading as I (and many others) have before and after me.
The information contained therein will afford you the skills to become a formidable adversary even when fighting from a position of disadvantage. The avg.sim pilot learns quickly enough the art of the kill from superior position,_the pilots that amaze me most are the ones that kill you from a lower E-state.These are also by far the most fun to fly against,as having blown an initial energy adv.,they have the ACM knowledge to press the attack from equal ground now, rather than extend. You have all come across these types and marveled at their execution.I will point out Kieren and Udie as this calibre pilot.Scores aside, when you come across a true master of ACM,you can descend in your chute with a smile and the knowledge that the art of air-combat is not gone
