my First Aces High skin

I have done some skins in the past but ...

 this is my first aces high skin its a 109k4  was flown by JG 52 /1945

take a look at the SLIDE SHOW any feedback would help
Thanks for all the help from all who replied to my posted requests

there were a few variance of the red tulip from the bf109 g6- the 109 k4
some were more molted that others I tried for a happy medium
I hope you like them

if you click the  slide show they are very large they look razor sharp when i do it ill post a few here

IM not sure what that means..... half texture size?

what ever the default skin size was is what i used .
am i suposed to make it larger?

 maybe its the screan shots

your texturemap should be 1024x1024


looks like you are using 512x512... basically half the resolution it should be.

make sure to download the hires texture pac and save the default 1024x1024 skin.

I belive i did change the file to 1024x1024 was that ok to do?

then I weatherd the hell out of the skin and when i shot the screan I  blew it up so it would be larger illl bet I lost some detail when i did that  because its really sharp in game and when I look out the cockk pit it looks sharper than the default skin
think that could be it?

You need to download the High Res Skin package at this location, then install it and then save the default skin.  This will give you a 1024x1024 default skin.  Anything that starts at 512x512 is low res.

Thing is if you inflate the file from 512 to 1024 you double the size of plane lines and they look fat and blury.

That is why you wana make them at 1024 and then when they are shrunken by skuzzy to 512 and 256 they look ok.

Also when you post screenies its important to see detail on the screenies and hence you wana post more close up pictures.

those are the early skins from way back in the experimental days I forgot about those.
