479th FG Marching Orders
« on: November 13, 2005, 05:35:26 PM »
It's been fun for the last year flying with the Bishops after 3+ years with the Knights.  But all good things must come to an end sometime.  What was supposed to be just one tour jaunt through the Bishop country side turned into almost a year tour instead.  During those times I've made a lot of new friends and got to fly with some old foes as well.

The 479th will be mustering out of the Bishops in the next few days to take up our old haunting grounds amongst the Knitwits.

Bishops, it's been great.

Man, when I was a bish, you were a knit. When I became a knit, you were bish.  All this time and it will be the first time we will be on the same side.  Good, bad or indifferent, I guess we all have to deal with it.  :lol

Well look on the bright side.  You and your squadron mates won't have to worry about a Raider beating the crap out of you.  Now you just need to worry about us stealing your kills.
