New perk planes
« on: November 20, 2005, 11:53:00 AM »
Here are some planes I saw week before last at the Blue Angels homecoming airshow that AH could use. They would all be heavily perked of course.

New perk Goon:

This is a perk Luftwobble ride, but also RAF and Italy could use it:

CV perk bomber

For when you just cant find that $@$%^& Panzer in the woods!

This is automatically issued to anyone who runs a mission. It will be available from both CV's and land bases

And last but not least, so 999000 and Tatertot can find and sink CV's more efficiently

A couple of pics of the Blues

Probably a radar pod the period. I think I remember some of the F4Us being converted / modified to be night fighters. I could be wrong though.

Its a radar. Thats a night fighter version, I think this is an F4U-5N which is a post war plane, Dec '45 I think. It first saw combat in '50 with VMF(N)-513 in Korea.

Just for grins, what do you think a 4x20mm cannon F4U-5 would be perked at?

Nice pics Grits.

that is a radar pod on that F4u. Woudl be a neat little option to have in game when Radar goes down in the MA. :)

Little known fact, but the F4U-4 could replace the 50 cals with 4 20mm hispanos.  This was a day one option as far as I know.  I am not sure why the -4 doesn't have the 4 20mm option in AH2.  Maybe just an oversight on HTs part, or maybe it would just be too good even as a perk.

I doubt if any 4 20mm F4U-4s made it into combat, but I have no proof one way or the other :)
