Thank you Krusty for leting me use your outstanding FW190 template.

I saw this FW190 F8 and tought is cool, a little different. Since there are not many F8's yet in AH I gave it a try:

Here is what I was able to do. I know I suck.

The harder part was done by Krusty (panel lines, rivets, control surfaces....)
Can you please be honest and tell me how many light years away from decent this skin is.

its hard to tell from the pics but the surface of the top wing seems to look pretty good.

nice subdued almost invisable rivets, looks to be some stressed aluminum rivet deformation near some of the panel lines?

why did you decide to use green instead of the brownish tan in the profile?

Are you sure you've got the right colors? The template looks very much like sandgelb (desert scheme) but your skin looks very much like olivgrun.

Just curious.

maybe summer russia with the steppe and all the green might have been more likely interpretation of the black and white pic.

also make the E bigger so its same size proportionately as the photo. and your missing the ID black with white outline horizontal bar on the rear fuselage both sides.

the black ring around the white cowling should just be a heavy panel line and not so pronounced

also on the yellow spinner the black should be same width as the white spiral and the black should only be behind the white.

Thank you for your help guys.
I'll get to work on it right now. I knew I forgot some parts.

I have some layers with RLM 79 ( sand gelb) but I tought it was too strong

. I think I will change it.
I think this plane was moved from mediteranean teatre to easern front. 1944 version would be something in RLM 79, 65 , and the 1945 would be made in RLM 74,75 and 76 standard with the white areas painted in yellow.
(I tried to find something in between:lol )

The white rumpfband, nose ring and rudder are an incorrect interpretation of the photo you have cross posted from Rafiger's site ( Schlachtgeschwader 4). These should be yellow especially if you are going for the eastern front look (RLM 74, 75, 76)

If you are doing BLack E with the white then the overall camo would better as RLM 79, 65 to reflect the Italian / Med theater.

Thank you guys. What else this thing needs, I have no clue in finishing. Don't know what to look for.

I found some high resolution drawings athttp://www.airwar.ru/other/drawe.html I was interested in the panell for the underwing bomb racks. is a bit different from the A8.
