Seahawks vs Giants

I'm confident that IF the Seattle Seahawks can beat the Giants, that all NFC roads to the Superbowl will have to pass through Quest Field in Seattle....

That said, its nice to be sitting on top of the NFC with an 8-2 record (it would be 9-1 if our kicker hadn't choked on a 42 yard FG attempt vs Redskins earlier this year)

1st ranked offense.(6 game win streak has been without our starting WR's, one of our starting WR came back recently, so we've been playing with bench on our passing game)

16th ranked defense.

The defense is still questionable with two key starters out (LB Jamie Sharper and SS Ken Hamlin)

NFL's record of most TD's scored in a season (27, Priest Holmes) could be in jepordy as Shawn Alexander has 19 TD's in 10 games. (He had 20 TD's in 16 games last year)

bengals are winning the superbowl so forget about it. Seahawks are good because of sean alexander. he can't keep it up. Bengals will be in detroit come feb...

record could easily be 7-3 if the Cowboys hadn't thrown it away at the end.

They didn't throw it away,  a good cornerback read on the play forced the interception. (and the fact that it was a tie game is kinda important too, you would have had to win in OT, in this game, we won in regulation)

we could beat them, we would have to play offensively like we did sunday and defensly like we did every other game before sunday. and they would have to make some offensive mistakes. But we could do it. definetly going to be the bengals or the colts winning the superbowl...

I personally see Denver matching up with the Colts for the AFC Championship game. Cincy is my dark horse, but a distant one due to their playoff experience in recent years.

Good luck to you!

You probably didn't notice that we dominated 3 quarters of football, only to let them get back into the game, a ROAD game mind you.  I wasn't worried about the outcome, however I am still suspect of our defense as we're missing 2 key players on defense, that showed yesterday.

But a win is a win. :)

Definately having a good year, no doubt. Problem will be the defense I think. Also, how will the offense produce when it comes up against a strong defense that can shut down/contain the run. If they can pass those 2 hurdles, might just go to the big dance.

You speaketh the truth.  I'm just hoping for an NFC Championship game, I really don't think they have the defense to carry them all the way to the Superbowl, and as a 26 year fan, I'd be happy with just playoff win. :D
