That is one of the ugliest cars I have ever seen (not a troll).   Not to mention the BLATANT rip off of the Vette's lines (forward of the Windshield and rear quarters).

PS - Until Dodge actually comes up with a 1/2 way decent tranny, they'll be 3rd best in "Detroit".

Looks like an exaggerated 98 Avenger, IMHO.

Was a Thunderbird ever a muscle car? I never thought so.

If you want performance and you don't want to spend an arm and a leg, you have to go with the rice.

It looks great and it certainly makes sense for them to make a coupe with the new hemi and the market sucess of the 300.

But a 116 inch wheelbase is huge, the car will be heavy and unweildy.

"But a 116 inch wheelbase is huge, the car will be heavy and unweildy."

In other words it's actually a man's car and not a go-kart.  Women, girly men, and city slickers need not apply.

T-Birds sucked.

GTO's and Chargers looked like crap. I never understood why anyone could think they were cool in any way.

Well when it was introduced in 1955 it was intended to compete with the Chevrolet Corvette.  In 1955, the Thunderbird was available with a 193-212 horsepower 292 cubic-inch V8. In 1956 and 1957 the Thunderbird was available with a 215-340 horsepower 312 cubic-inch V8 or the original 292 cubic-inch engine.

Not exactly muscle, but it was on an even playing field with Corvette, so in that case, the Corvette was not a muscle car THEN either...

That would kill this car if it has FWD. Does the charger have fwd? I know that the ST-8 (425 hp version) only comes in an automatic, which sucks...)

Whats wrong with that?  I guess you never drove a Cyclone?  Had a friend with a yard full of 65 Comets, one of which was a Cyclone.  Since it was in a constant state of restoration, he bought a 70's Cyclone to drive.  I had a Grabber (Maverick version).  Not exactly pretty cars, but they get your attention when you punch the throttle.  If it only would have had something else besides that POS 302 ...........

I had a 1964 Falcon Convertible that had a 302 Boss dropped in it, with a Hurst Inline shifter, man that car was fun! Wheel-hopped something bad though due to springs...

The new Charger is RWD.  AWD isn't even an option like on the 300C's and Magnums (same platform).
