I think its pointless to debate which country needs its plane list increased the most. Both Russia and Japan are extreamly under represented and both need new planes ASAP.

The russians have MORE planes?!?!?!  I figured they just flew in massive hordes of 3 cannon LA7s for 20 minutes until their fuel ran out...  :p

I don't know much about the japanese historical planes, but it would be nice to see a couple more and at least one that can operate from a carrier if possible.

actually, if HTC models the yak3 properly they will rule the cartoon world.  it would need to be perked along the order of the F4U-4.

ideally what we need for a competetive japanese plane set would be:

Ki43IIc
Ki44IIc
Ki45
Ki84II
Ki100
Ki102a
J2M3

Storch,

No Ki-84-IIs saw combat and in any case they would be worse than Ki-84-Is.  The big difference was increased use of wood, which made it heavier, to try to reduce it's use of metals that were in short supply.

A Ki-84-I-Otsu (Ki-84-Ib) with four 20mm cannon would be nice.  They built ~500 of those.

with TOD coming i doubt anything outside of the luftewabble and raf planes will be implemented till we get another theatre in TOD. The overflow will go into MA. I like the whole idea of focusing on a theatre and building planes to fit it, they end up being alot more unique and costomized to fight in that environment, radiator filters, weathering, ectra.  the days of, 'gime this uber plane, gime that plane", will change to lets fight in Burma that could be fun!  veriaty is the spice of life, not just grabing what ever dream plane you can think of and craming it on the list. Learning to fly something completely odbal is fun, exploring its environment and throwing in some of that history stuff can be refreshing.
