Skuzzy , will this work in AH? I hope so since they upgraded me on my order of the TrackIr3 pro.

Yes? No? Maybe?

it'll work as well as my 3 and then you will not use it though it feels more like rl, you cannot hit anything with it :)

Eagler, I disagree.  With the proper set up it is superior to the hat view for shooting.

In point of fact, I have mapped the Hat view forward to  a button on my throttle, when Im ready to fire, I depress the button, which allows me the forward view "locked in" AND the ability to look left or right over the cowling.

I'd agree with your premise 4-5 months ago...but I believe I have it perfected.

Though it took a few weeks to get used to it, the TrackIR3 I won is just fantastic. I'm now to the point where I am ready to reprogram the views on my "view hat" to some other commands, just becasue I don't use that hat anymore.

It may help if you program your stick with three new commands:

"TrackIR On"
"TrackIR Off"
"TrackIR Recenter"

Though this next tip can't possibly apply to most people, if your flight seat has a headrest, "centering" your head and keeping it stationary during a fight is nice and easy. And relaxing too. ;-) Just lean back.
