Best I can do after digging through my Jug stuff.  Looks like G.C. II/5 was operating in support of ground operations during the Battle of the Bulge etc.

Wait a bit I'm warming the scanner and diffing my books :D

About your skin , not bad ,but the colour of the roundel are to bright IMO at least you didn't put yellow around :p

I can't believe it, I've not a single profile of a P47 of the Lafayette !

I'll ask on a French forum, stay tuned :)

Not to steal the thread, but was the P-47 above destroyed when the museum had a fire in the 80s or 90s (Can't remember when it happened).

I like number 23 better, but only because the roundels stand out nicely against the BMF wings and have left-over bars from the US markings (I think, I don't know if they're standard on French markings)

23 is better ,the yellow around the roundel is too orange.

I really like 23. I think NL surprised me at how well it turned out, as well. Is that a war-time or post-war bird? (doesn't look like your average bear, I mean jug). As for AF*R -- it looks good too, but the others steal the show :)
