tring for the real world feel. Its a bit over the top was just practiceing the weathering. and rised rivets experiment
Im almost done with a toned down version ie not so worn out, with flush rivets it will still  need a wash job and a wax  i may clean the mud off and armorall the tires too

thats fun to do also making the makings takes as long as the skin

but its good stress therapy for me.

did that plane have a serial number for the rudder id so do you know what it is?

You mean like a name on the side of the fuselage, or do you mean little things like warning labels and stencils?

If you'd like an idea of what the markins looked like on mine, go to AH-skins.com and go to the 190a5 section and DL the version I did. I uploaded it to that website after it was accepted by HTC.

Ahh.. I had that same problem for a while with 190s. I found some stenciling from pictures of aircraft in museums, but it turns out that not all planes kept them. If a plane was repainted in the field they did not repaint the stencils. Sometimes they masked them before painting (leaving shadows or boxes around them) but mostly they got overpainted. On this plane I don't think there were many, so you don't really have to worry about it.

i think it looks decent... but....

am i missing the engine exhaust ports?

did you layer over them?

in my opinion the profile pic with the plane headed to the right looks great with the splotchy paint, but some of the closer shots the + look a bit too dirty, and the dirt is not even with the dirt on the paint next to them. (like in the picture with the left wing root in the center of the frame)

just my observations

rgr the corrected screan is the first one
the one you referance was before i fixed it.  that one got bye me ill remove it... ty  good eye

the blueish color represents the metal under the paint showing

port for exust  were layered over i just need to take the camo off from it

I what trying for not only dirt but some rust effect kind of  experimintation

as my above post says I have the toned down  one otw but it still is A lil dirty I just have a problem with war birds that are clean.
it makes no sence to me.
these things are in the filed fighting all mudy and scratched up.
they dont get detailed when they land I see some nice skins out there but they are way to clean its unrealistic IMO.

im the same way with models I go as far as to slap real mud on the wheels ect .then flat clear over it

but you are correct that 190 is a pig pen
:lol

i dont know how you are making it, but for the 190 i made everything was PRISTINE and mint condition on their own layers, and i used over 8 different layers for different types of dirt.

4 layers above that for exhaust.

that may help lining up some of the dirty things, and get that effect you are looking for of dirtying then a virtual clear coat over

just a suggestion

I just did google searches. Google has an image search feature as well. Images.google.com

Or google for walkarounds and such. Model reference sites often have links to photos of real things.

EDIT: But like I said I think you can pull this skin off without any.
