One of our biggest flaws in the security of the United States is the individual assumption that someone else (US Government agencies) is looking after our security.
I don't mean to say that our Government is NOT looking out for us, but rather, that our citizens seem to be disillusioned about security.
The Friday following the attack on the WTC I was talking with 4 other Gents from the RC Flying Club I belong to.
One of them says, "Well I think the Government needs to take stiffer action to protect us period, we shouldn't have to live with such fears."
I don't think he could be more wrong.
How can we possibly expect a handful of delegated or elected officials to protect billions of us without locking down our every freedom?
It is up to us as individuals to be prepared to protect ourselves and each other.
One of those 4 planes did not make it's target because someone stood tall and defended freedom.
Our "Resolve" as our President has stated, must be strong! We must NEVER let this happen again!
