Map/Gameplay theory

Well we have had for years the idea of captureing a town as the main point to fight and defend in AH

While playing NDisles I really enjoy the furball that happens over 'furball island' and the tank town there.  I find it the most realistic low-alt fighting in AH/MA, as well as being action packed.

I feel takeing this model of three fields you could expand the idea and have multiple focus points over a map.  All centered around a 'Tank Town'

Towns from surrounding fields could even be moved closer to the Tank Town, giveing further focus on this area.  Moveing the towns of the airfeild near vehical bases might be a good idea with this theory.

What this can create is a ground war of significant importance, with airsupport playing a significat role in the ground war.

Just throwing out some theories and thoughts, I find the furball island of NDisles very fun and immersive for the MA.  Would a fullscale map based on this model work?  What do some mapmakers think?  Maybe we could try something like this if some Map gurus like the idea, and HTC would accept it..?

Moin

i like this idea. Maybe every zone base get a large city with 3-4 vehicalbases in it (i mean a realy big city). After geting all 3-4 vehical bases the town is captured and the fild is captured too.
In the big city can be the strat factorys or the towns of some nearest bases too.

Most bases already spawn GVs within a mile of town, it's easy enough as it is to take them. You put a Vfield around towns, and dweebs on all sides just milk-run undefended bases, sneak-capture them (it happens ALL the time) and then use GVs to capture the town within sight of their Vfield.

Doesn't work too well.
