First night of subscription

Today I subscribed and started flying in MA.

I entered the big bad world with guides by my side: Schatzi, Schutt, and the guys of the 71st were kind enough to let this n00b stick with them, for a while. ;)

I spent all night running back and forth between two airfields, being amazed by how fast you run out of fuel (I am... was a freeloader, such tiny maps in H2H rooms :p) and trying to get used to dogfight in the middle of a lot of red icons... I was looking around so frantically that I didn't know where I was going... and I had the opportunity of meeting some tree! :D

In the end, it was really fun, I had many nice furballs, and I saw no sign of diving buffs or suicide pilot... I guess they all fly at US night time! :p

Heh, tonight was my first flight since sometime in mid 2004.  Given my lack of imagination, my handle this time around is "JAB3".

I saw a few familiar faces and lots of names I don't recognize.  

I need to re-learn my keymaps.  Several times I wanted to drop flaps I cut my engine instead.

Welcome Gianlupo. :)

And now that you're here, you should try the Special Events. There's a King of the Hill on .. is it friday? Eurotime, then there's Close Escort on sundays (21CET) and Thursday snapshots (21CET, on wednes.. argh, thursdays ;)).

The MA carousel can be fun - or frustrating - and yet so addictive. Hope you'll enjoy your subscription. :)

JAB, you'll be ok in a week or two...

Although I don't really know ya....your welcome to fly with the squad anytime you wish. I believe there is an opening or 2 in it. Your welcome to become part of it as well.

I'm glad they showed you around a bit and hope to fly with you soon. As it stands right now I am sick and wouldn't bother to climb the stairs in my house for flying. But , Schutt and I believe Schatzi may invite you I think. They have the privies to do so I believe.

Uhhh Wolfala.... im not sure that describes Gian.....

His room (and the ones he haunts) have more of dream DA settings..... - no trees, fuel burn 0, rest default.

Was fun to wing with ya in the big bad world out there Gian. Now if youd just see the light and fly a real fighter, like a Hurri.... not those dweeb Macchis.... :D


Youll get used to the fuel burn... just dont take 50% in a Spit16, and youll be fine ;).

Now imagine how much fun you had, and how infuriating it will be when the inevitable divebombing buffs come and kill the FH's at the field you were upping from. You just got lucky.

Panzzer, I'll surely come to SEA, I had the idea of making so yesterday for the finnish nightfighter event, but then I met Schatzi and spent all the night in Main...

lol, it certainly helps with the girls :D i got a 20 min massage from two hotties the other day  :lol :aok

might pop in tonight. the thumb aint great, but i reckon i can move the hat a little. what time you gonna be around?

oh, and btw, for everyone else that doesnt know, i dislocated my thumb punching a friend lol. he ducked and the thumb got caught on his shoulder. it came right out of the socket, was flopping around lol. its been in a bandage since monday evening lol
